Jeff Foxworthy Biography
6 September 1958, Hapeville, Georgia, USA. Foxworthy is a highly successful comedian and writer who has appeared on country radio and released a string of platinum-selling albums. He walked out of a successful job at IBM to become a stand-up comedian, developing his famous catchphrase You might be a redneck if..., an example being: You might be a redneck if you lost a tooth opening a beer can. The southern states have taken Foxworthy to heart and appreciate that his humour is affectionate. He collaborated with Little Texas for Party All Night and makes a guest appearance in Alan Jacksons video for Im In Love With You Honey And I Dont Even Know Your Name. Foxworthys US television series ran for two successful seasons, he hosts a weekly country countdown show, and his spin-off merchandising remains big business. His albums have now sold over 15 million copies in the USA, and his books are a permanent feature on the bestsellers list.
