Biography

7 April 1948, Brooklyn, New York, USA. Douglas was a member of US vocal group the Chantels in the early 70s before going solo. Her debut single, released in November 1974, was a cover of ‘Doctor’s Orders’ - a previous UK Top 10 hit for female UK pop vocalist Sunny - which peaked just outside the US Top 10.
