BABE: PIG IN THE CITY, directed by George Miller and one of the greatest of all fantasy movies, has a loony visionary magnificence.
New York Times
May 3, 2013
It's George Miller's masterpiece, maybe even the best commercial film of 1998. Full Review

BABE has all but lost its bearings.
New York Times
Jan 1, 2000
A brilliant, grotesquely underrated family film criticised at the time of its release for being too dark for young audiences. Full Review

A sequel that lacks the quiet beauty and subtlety of the original!

Jan 1, 2000
The audience isn't coddled, and the film doesn't talk down to anyone. We are, all of us, subjects to unbearable emotions, and Pig in the City is a rare film that more or less encompasses all of them. Full Review

Product Description:

This sequel to the critically acclaimed original picture might not have been quite the pig at the box office that its predecessor was, but it was one of 1998's most charming, entertaining works. This family-friendly adventure takes the oinker of the title, along with Ferdy and Mrs. Hoggett, beyond the confines of the farm's fences and into the great wide world. It's up to the trio to save the farm, and they just might be able to do it. James Cromwell returns to the role of the farmer, and George Miller (HAPPY FEET) directs.
