Rating: 1.5/4 -- A movie just about Bella's dad would probably be more interesting than any of the hormonal claptrap going on in this one. Full Review

This penultimate "Twilight" film is the best in the series so far. It's languorous, romantic, moody, and, in the end, horrifying. Full Review

Rating: 1.5/5 -- I just think you deserve better than this, I really do. Full Review

You can argue about the feminist implications of the movie all day long (call me, I'd love to!), but at least in terms of horror, it seems that Condon and company are finally ready to freak out the tweens, and that makes me happy. Full Review
Bust Magazine

Rating: .5 -- Even the addition of an Oscar-winning director in Bill Condon ("Kinsey," "Gods and Monsters") fails to save what is essentially a padded-out tale of all-consuming love and loyalty. Full Review
The Patriot Ledger
Dec 28, 2015
Rating: 2.5/4 -- The first half of Breaking Dawn: Part 1 moves slowly, but at least it taps into the appropriate emotions. The second half zips along rapidly but remains alarmingly flat and lifeless. Full Review
The Oklahoman

Rating: 3/5 -- Overall entertaining, and manages to maintain the audience's attention up to the final cliffhanger. Full Review
