If you are a bigger fan of the genre, there might be more to enjoy, but for me, The King felt long and tonally confused. None of the performances are bad, but Timothée Chalamet does not stand out as much as he should in this central and classic role. Full Review

3 stars out of 4 -- THE KING has a restless, kaleidoscopic, take-a-snapshot-and-move-on energy. In many ways, it's a documentary about everything, it's a documentary about 'then' and it's a documentary about 'right now.'
