Rating: 3.5/5 -- Moverman's dinner is certainly barbed, and often venomous, but in spending two solid hours with such unlikeable company is an ordeal in itself, even one as handsomely crafted and executed as this. Full Review

Rating: B- -- While The Dinner occasionally serves up too many undercooked ingredients, there's a lot of genius to examine in what filmmaker Oren Moverman prepares. Full Review

Product Description:

Two brothers (Richard Gere and Steve Coogan) and their wives (Rebecca Hall and Laura Linney) meet up at a haute-cuisine restaurant to discuss what to do about a horrific crime that their sons committed together. As the quartet debate their options, the conversation reopens old wounds between the siblings. Written and directed by Oren Moverman, who adapted the script from the best-selling novel by Dutch author Herman Koch.
