Rating: 3/4 -- This well-made and intriguing documentary isn't about New York so much as it is about an unusual idea seen to fruition. Full Review

Rating: 3.5/5 -- Green isn't much good at self-promotion. He's enthusiastic, thoughtful and sincere about every step he takes, and his attitude spreads to documentarian Jeremy Workman and, by extension, to us. Full Review

While some more skeptical strangers seem to think Green is wasting his time, "World" makes it easy to admire the logic of his explanation that "It's just about the value of paying attention to something." Full Review

Rating: 3/4 -- It's hard to see Green in action and not think of traditional pilgrims on holy journeys and, perhaps, hermits or monks or others who have withdrawn from regular life. Full Review

Product Description:

Matt Green is a humble Virginia-born man who has been walking each and every block in New York City for 6 years then writing about what he sees. Technically homeless, he house-sits and couch-surfs, living on less than $20 a day. Part life lesson about appreciating the world around us, and part a character study of Green himself, this documentary (directed by Jeremy Workman) concludes as an ode to the metropolis in which it is set.
