Adventures of Captain Marvel-The Greatest Serial ever made!
Movie Lover: ROBERT VELEZ from
BRONX, NY US -- August, 18, 2015
In 1941, Republic Pictures released a serial called Adventures Of Captain Marvel! It contained 12 chapters of action packed excitement as the serial moves along like a cool wind on a summer night! Never boring as this classic serial still holds up very well after 75 years! The director of this serial William Witney actually stated that this serial was his favorite because the acting and direction was perfect! Being a serial lover, besides Flash Gordon and Zorro, no other serial compare with this one! In later years, Superman and Batman would garner more popularity but in 1941, Captain Marvel was #1!
